Les Premières Années began in 2009 with a simple idea: put in the window only what we would buy for our own children. Seventeen years later we are still here, with two shops a few hundred metres apart.
How we work
We go to the trade fairs and the knitwear mills ourselves. We handle the yarn, check the inner seams, ask where the fabric is dyed. It is slow and it makes us buy less, but it is the only way to answer honestly when a mother asks whether a garment will last.
We do not run constant sales and we do not inflate prices in order to cut them later. What you see is the price, all year round, except at the change of season.
2009
The first shop opens at Via Nocera 3, forty square metres devoted to the newborn layette.
2014
The in-house tailor arrives: we start embroidering initials and altering occasion outfits.
2018
A second shop at Via Catello Fusco 39/A, with the fitting room reserved for occasionwear.
2021
The baby registry goes digital: a private link, live updates, contributions in shares.
Oggi
We ship across Italy, but the counter where we fold the clothes is still the same one.
